IWCP - 26 October 1889 - NEWPORT - OBITUARY. - We have to record the death of Mr. Henry Damp, which took place at his home in Elm Grove on Sunday last at the advanced age of 87 years. He leaves a widow 91 years of age and who has been his partner for 66 years. Mr. Damp lived for 28 years at Watchingwell Farm, and was well known among the agriculturists of his day.
