IWCP - 7 February 1942 - NEWPORT - Death of a former Schoolmistress. - The death took place at her residence, Heather Bank, White Pit-lane, on Monday, of Miss Margaretta Ann Anderson, for many years head mistress of the Nodehill Infants' School. Miss Anderson was an ideal teacher of little ones, her charming disposition quickly winning their confidence and affection. She had suffered a long period of ill-heath.
