IWCP - 30 January 1909 - Newport - SUDDEN DEATH. - On Tuesday, at 9.15 p.m., Mr. Albert Edward Trott died at his residence, 21 Victoria-road, in a very sudden manner. He had been complaining of shortness of breath for several weeks past, but had not been medically attended. Mr. Trott went upstairs to bed at about 9 p.m. on the day named and was in the act of taking off his stockings when he had a seizure and fell on the floor and died in a few minutes. Dr. Underhill, who was sent for, gave it as his opinion that death was due to heart failure. The facts were reported to the Coroner, who did not consider an inquest necessary.
