Isle of Wight County Press - 18 Nov. 1961 - RYDE - Ex-Guardsman's Death. - Mr. Richard Trevett, aged 86, a resident of St. Vincent's Convalescent Home, Binstead Road, since January, 1952, died at St, Mary's Hospital, Newport, on Saturday. A former Grenadier guardsman, he came here from Weymouth. The funeral took place at Newport Cemetery on Wednesday, when St. Vincent's was represented by the matron (Miss O. Lee) and a resident, and the home sent a wreath
