IWCP - 8 August 1896 - Parkhurst - A NEGRO CONVICT'S DEATH. - On Saturday Edward F. Blake, Esq., held an inquest at H.M. Convict Prison on the body of Joseph Estwick, "a negro without friends or relatives in this county," undergoing 10 years' penal servitude, dating from December, 1893, who died on the previous Thursday from lung disease. A verdict of "Death from natural causes" was returned.
