IWCP – 25 May 1907 – Newport – OBITUARY. – The death occurred on Wednesday morning, after a long illness, of William Newman Biles, the local manager for 15 years of Messrs. Eastmans, Limited, of High-street, who was well-known and respected in business and sporting circles in the Island, as well as in friendly society quarters. Much sympathy is felt with the widow and son of deceased in their bereavement. Deceased, who lived at 15, West-end Terrace, was in his 50th year.
