Isle of Wight County Press - 23 April 1910 - NEWPORT - ODDFELLOW'S FUNERAL. - The funeral of the late Mr. Henry Wiseman took place on Sunday afternoon. A service was first held at St. John's Church in the presence of a large number of the deceased's brother Oddfellows and fellow members od the St. John's Men's Bible Class. Mr. James Eldridge (leader of the Bible Class) and Mr. E. W. Greenshield (treasurer) were present, together with the following officers of the Oddfellows: Bros. C. D. Vibert, N.G., R. J. Philpot, V.G., H. Blake, G.M., C. Steel, P.G.O.Se., A. Scott, P.G., E.S., H. Lower, P.O., Lecture Master, and F. J. Martin, P.G., Treas. The Rev. A. C. Stratton (vicar) officiated. .. The interment took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery. The coffin was borne by Bros. Henry and Herbert Blake, W. R. Wickens, E. J. Wilton, F. J. Martin, and H. Woodmore, and the Oddfellows' service was read by Bro. H. Lower.
