Isle of Wight County Press - 1st April 1916 - Carisbrooke - OBITUARY. - The death of Mr. F. Fry, of Pit Cottage, Carisbrooke, took place last week at the age of 18. The funeral was at the Cemetery on Sunday, Mr. A. Fry, deceased's uncle, officiating. The mourners were Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Fry (father and mother), the Misses N. and D. Fry (sisters), Mr. A. Fry (brother), and Messrs. E. and J. Harley and G. Fry (uncles). Flowers were sent by Mrs. Brett, Messrs. Leach and Webber, Mr. and Mrs. Brown and family, Mrs. Rochfort and family, Mrs. Dawkins, and Mrs. Ashbourne. Three of the deceased's brothers are serving King and Country, one in the Navy and two in the Army, one of the latter being with the Canadian contingent in France.
