IWCP - 23 January 1926 - Parkhurst - OBITUARY. - Much sympathy is felt with Mr. John Twomey, school-master at Parkhurst Prison, and family on the death, on Tuesday, of their second son, Dennis Jerome Twomey, aged 16. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery yesterday (Friday), conducted by the Rev. Father H. Nye. The bearers were Principal-Officers Edwards and Thompson and Officers Stowell, Davis, Mason, and Bartlett. The mourners were Mr. and Mrs. Twomey (father and mother), Mr. T. J. Twomey (eldest son), and Mr. F. Balton (brother-in-law). Mr. V. H. Channing, assistant steward at Parkhurst Prison, and Mr. S. Y. North also attended. The wreaths included one from the Prison Officers. The arrangements were carried out by Messrs. H. and F. Damp.
