IWCP - 3 August 1935 - CARISBROOKE. -SUDDEN DEATH. - Mr. John Lawson Aram, aged 75, a retired carpenter, died suddenly on Saturday. Deceased, who lived with his wife and two sons at the Hollies, Clatterford-road, had not been attended by a doctor, but had complained recently of chest pains. He was in the sitting-room with one of his sons on Saturday afternoon apparently in his usual state of health. The son left the room and on his return found that his father had collapsed. The doctor was summoned but could only pronounce life extinct. The facts were reported to the deputy coroner (F. A. Joyce, Esq.), who decided that an inquest was not neccessary.
