Isle of Wight County Press - 16 March 1946 - CARISBROOKE - Death of Mr. G. H. Coker. - The death took place on Wednesday of Mr. George Henry Coker, of High-street, aged 69, a well known and esteemed resident, who carried on a coal and wood merchant's business for many years, and retired just before the war for health reasons. He was vice-president of the British Legion. The funeral will take place at Carisbrooke Cemetery to-day (Saturday), at 2 p.m.
