Isle of Wight County Press - 5 April 1947 - NEWPORT - Funeral of an Angler. - The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Wednesday of Mr. Percy Gaster, of 22 Drake Road, whose death occurred on Monday. He was well known as a keen angler and was a founder-member of the I.W. Angling Society. The mourners were his brother and sister, Mr. A. Gaster and Miss A. B. Gaster. Messrs. O. C. Hamilton and Son made the arrangements.
