IWCP - 24 June 1950 - NEWPORT - Octogenarian's Death. - The death occurred on Sunday of Miss Clara Jolliffe, of 42 Trafalgar Road, aged 83. Her father, the late Mr. C. J. Jolliffe, was a local builder. The funeral took place on Wednesday, the service at the Carisbrooke Cemetery Chapel being conducted by the Rev. Dr. N. Spoor (Congregational minister). The mourners were Mr. and Mrs. G. Jolliffe and Mr. and Mrs. E. Chambers (cousins), and Mesdames D. Wooldridge and K. Hart. The arrangements were made by Messrs. O. C. Hamilton and Son.
