Isle of Wight County Press - 3 November 1951 - CARISBROOKE - The Late Mr. H. Moylan. - The death occurred at 25 Castle Road, on Thursday week, of Mr. Hugh Moylan, aged 69. Mr. Moylan was a native of Newport, and had been a member of the Island branch of the Old Contemptibles' Association since its formation. The funeral took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Saturday. Father Rea officiated. The mourners were Mr. F. Moylan (brother), Miss R. Moylan (sister), Mr. W. Chessell (brother-in-law), Mr. F. Blow (nephew), and Messrs. E. F. Millgate and G. W. Blee represented the Old Contemptibles' Association, who also sent a wreath. Messrs. O. C. Hamilton and Son made the arrangements.
