Isle of Wight County Press - 8 December 1951 - NEWPORT - Death of Mrs. T. W. Simmonds. - The death occurred yesterday of Mrs. Hannah Elizabeth Simmonds, at the Police Station, Ventnor, where she had been living with her son-in-law and daughter, P.C. and Mrs. T. Denness. Mrs. Simmonds who was 74, was the wife of Mr. T. W. Simmonds, of Lukely Place, Carisbrooke Road, a former well known local butcher. They formerly resided in New Street. The interment will take place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Monday 2 p.m.
