Isle of Wight County Press - 19 January 1952 - NEWPORT - The Late Mr. C. Frampton. - The funeral took place on Monday of Mr. Clement Frampton, aged 77, of 4 Mill Street, who died on Thursday week. Mr. Frampton was well known throughout the Island as a purveyor of sausages and before the war had a country round. He also held N.A.A.F.I. contracts during both wars. He was the son of Mr. C. Frampton, late of Gatehouse, Ashey. The service at Carisbrooke Cemetery was conducted by the Rev. W. H. Price and there were about 30 floral tributes. Messrs. H. and F. Damp made the arrangements.
