Isle of Wight County Press – 6 May 1922 - NEWPORT - THE FUNERAL OF MR. E. J. ROGERS, - Killarnney, Medina-avenue, took place at Carisbrooke Cemetery on Tuesday, Adjt. H. Bramwell Estill, of the Salvation Army, officiating in the presence of the deceased’s son, other relatives, and a number of friends, including officers and soldiers of the Salvation Army. Adjt. Mrs. Estill, Sergt.-Major S. Groves, Mr. W. Cooley (treasurer), and Miss Cooke (secretary) were amongst the Army representatives. Adjt. Estill made suitable references to the deceased’s loyal work for the Salvation Army. Messrs. H. and F. Damp made the arrangements.
