IWCP - 1 June 1963 - NEWPORT - Former County Official. - The death occurred on Tuesday, a day before his 84th birthday, of Mr. Tertius William Trickett Nobbs, of 15 Avondale Road. Mr. Nobbs was the County Council's inspector of weights and measures from 1901 to 1948. The funeral service took place yesterday at St. John's Church.
