IWCP 19 APRIL 1890 - THE LATE MISS TUCKER - The fumeral of this highly esteemed lady, who died on Snday last, took place at Newport Cemetery on Wednesday, the ceremony both at the parish church and at the grave being conducted by the Rev. H. G. Thwaites, vicar of St. John's. The principal mourners were the deceased lady's two nephews, Mr. W. T. Way Buckell and Mr. Robey Tucker and with them was Dr. Allan Waterworth, the medical attendant. Among a number of personal friends who attended to show a last tribute of respect and regard were Mr. Francis Pittis, J.P., Mr Robey F. Eldridge, J.P., C.C., and Mrs. Eldridge, the Misses Eldridge, Miss Way Buckell, Miss Turpin, Mr., Mrs., and Miss Pittis, Nurse Theobald, the servants at Castlehold House, the members of the St. Thomas's Dorcas Society, the members of the St. John's Dorcas Society, Miss Ward Dillon, Miss Pegler, "Lucy and Elisabeth," and Mary Read.
