IWCP - 6 February 1909 - Newport - DEATH OF THE REV. J. D. PALM. - The death occurred yesterday week, at Pendennis, Newport, of the Rev. John D. Palm, a former Presbyterian minister, who had lived in retirement here for many years. The deceased gentlemen, who had reached the patriarchal age of 93, was an earnest supporter of religious work in the town, and his exemplary Christian character and life commanded the sincere esteem of all with whom he came into contact.
