IWCP - 15 March 1902 - NEWPORT - DEATH OF MR. JOSEPH GENTLE. - Newport loses an esteemed citizen by the death of Mr. Joseph Gentle, which occurred suddenly on Thursday morning last, at the age of 57. The deceased was a prominent member of the Wesleyan Methodist Connexion and will be much missed. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved family. The funeral takes place on Monday afternoon next, the first part of the service being performed at the Wesleyan Church at 2.30.
