Isle of Wight County Press – 20 April 1935 - NEWPORT - OBITUARY. – …Mrs. Margaret Susannah Westmore, aged 71, widow of Mr. William Henry Westmore, formerly of Bowcombe Barn Farm, Carisbrooke, died at the residence of her daughter (Mrs. Rodd), 14 Magdalen-road, North End, Portsmouth, on Saturday. After the death of her husband she resided in Clatterford-road, Carisbrooke. She was a member of the Methodist Church. The funeral took place on Thursday at Carisbrooke Cemetery, the service being conducted by the Rev. H. Parsons, of Ventnor. Among the mourners were Mr. and Mrs. H. Westmore (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. Rood (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. J. Diffey (nephew), Mrs. J. Westmore, Mrs. Westmore (Bowcombe), Mrs. Saunders (Whitwell), and Mr. W. Upward.
