IWCP - 21 March 1908 - Carisbrooke - Half a Century Bell-Ringer - The death occurred on Wednesday of Mr. Barnabas Urry, aged 74, an old resident, who, for upwards of 50 years, was a bell-ringer at the Parish-church, and formerly a member of the church choir. He carried out the church restoration work during the churchwardenship of the late Mr. John Spickernell.
