IWCP - 15 October 1887 - Newport - OBITUARY. - We regret to record the death of Mr. Ernest Pitman Jackman, who has passed away on the threshold of a life of great promise. Mr. E.P. Jackman was the fourth son of Mr. Jackman, of St. James's-street, he was an active member of the Y.N.C.A., the St. Thomas's Club, and the Blue Ribbon Army, and an earnest Sunday school teacher and visitor in the religious community known as the Plymouth Brethren. Into every matter he took up he threw the greatest energy, and his premature death is deeply regretted by many friends.
