IWCP - 1 June 1901 - NEWPORT - MUCH SYMPPATHY - is felt for Mr. H. W. Cave, of 149 High-street, in the heavy loss he has sustained by the death of his wife, which sad event took place early on Whit-Monday morning, after a brief but serious illness which developed symptoms rather unexpectedly. The deceased, who was only 31 years of age, leaves a family of three young children. The funeral took place at Newport Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon in the presence of many sympathisers, and the coffin was covered with beautiful floral tributes.
