IWCP - 30 January 1932 - NEWPORT - THE DEATH - occurred yesterday (Friday) at Parkhurst Infirmary of William Burgess, aged 50, of New-street, a well-known newspaper seller. In pre-war days he was prominent as a long distance runner, and had since taken an interest in local athletics. During the war he served in the Hampshire Regt. in India.
