IWCP - 25 April 1936 - NEWPORT - OBITUARY. - With much regret we have to record the death of Mr. William George Rolf, aged 46, which occurred at the County Hospital on April 13th, after a long and painful illness patiently borne. The interment was in Newport Cemetery, following a service at St. Paul's Church, conducted by the Rev. G. C. Seymour, of Wootton. The numerous floral tributes included a wreath from the Newport Gas Works, where deceased was formerly employed. The chief mourners were Mrs. W. Rolf (widow), Miss M. Rolf (daughter), Mr. and Mrs. P. Gould (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. F. Pardy (sister and brother-in-law), Mr. Edward Rolf (brother), and Mrs. Squibb and Mrs. Jacobs (sisters)
