IWCP - 9 April 1938 - NEWPORT - Death of Mrs. Lowenthal. - Residents will regret the death, which took place on Thursday at her home, 29 Quay-street, of Mrs. Susan Lowenthal, aged 74, wife of Mr. Charles Lowenthal, who for many years was in business in the town as a tobacconist. Mrs. Lowenthal was also formerly in business as a dressmaker at 22 High-street. Her death followed a long illness patiently borne, and much sympathy is felt with Mr. Lowenthal and with her only daughter, Mrs. G. Meech, in their loss.
